At very few kilometers from the house you can find, on one side, the wild, steep Sil Canyons and, on the other side, the wonderful Miņo Canyons.
The Ribeira Sacra (Sacred Riverside), both of the rivers Miņo and Sil, gets its name from the big amount of romanesque churches and monasteries that stand along the river banks.
